Outstanding, incredibly rare vintage "Gin" bracelet by Isabel Canovas, from the late 1980s/early 1990s. Isabel Canovas was the Parisian queen of high end, highest quality, kitschy, campy novelties with an almost surrealist vibe. Having worked for both Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior, it's no surprise that her creations are as chic as they are visionary. This amazing, unique, statement piece features individual playing cards linked together with articulated movement. Each card features a different suit/design with inlaid enamel in red and black. Shiny, mirrored gold plated finish. Hidden prong/hole closure that creates a fanned out, continuous, seamless look. Signed back side, with the piece title GIN.
