The main focal point of the mala is the handmade Tibetan gau pendant from Nepal.  Gau features the Eternal Knot, or Endless Knot, one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols.  Opens to reveal an image of HH the Dalai Lama and a tiny piece of a prayer scarf.

By wearing Blue Amethyst, you become more in tune with your own feelings and get to know your inner self on a much deeper level.  It is used for inspiration and intuition.  Snow quartz is a stone that brings good fortune.  It is also a calming and soothing stone; it is helpful for meditation, and looking within.

Mala measures approximately 27" around with an adjustable knot.  Beads are 6mm.  Gau measures about 1" tall, 7/8" wide, and 3/8" thick.
