Each Spring I love to go explore in the foothills around our home in Southern California. There is an astounding variety of wildflowers that call these hills and mountains home.

One of my personal favorites is black sage, with it's delicate purple white blossoms, and richly textured leaves it is a truly intriguing plant.

These earrings are made using a real Black Sage Leaf.  I use a special process to take a mold of the leaf and then create a sterling silver ring directly from the mould so each little nuanced line, fold and vein from the leaf is present in the ring.

It is adorned with a little blue flash Moonstone droplet like a permanently preserved dew drop.
