Antique Edwardian Lavalier rose gold pendant. The piece features two claw set purple amethyst gemstones set into an ornate setting decorated with two flowers. On the underside of the pendant, the piece is hallmarked 9ct. These types of pendants were named Lavalier pendants popularised by the Duchesse de la Valliere, a mistress of King Louis XIV of France.
